The actress shared a picture from her Shirdi visit on her social media page. Clad in a simple salwar-kurta set, Shilpa was seen offering prayers with folded hands to the shrine. In July 2015, Parhad Amra, a proprietor of an automobile company, revealed that he offered financial aid to Shilpa Shetty’s late father, Surendra Shetty, for his business. However, Surendra Shetty failed to settle the loan before his death on October 11, 2016, leaving Parhad empty-handed. The proprietor then reached out to Shilpa, Shamita, and Sunanda for the reimbursement of his loan. After not getting a satisfactory response from the family, Parhad moved to court for his money.
In 2022, the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate R R Khan issued orders summoning Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Shamita Shetty, and Sunanda Shetty. The actress challenged the orders in the sessions court. Amra told the court that Surendra Shetty informed him that his daughters and wife were partners in his company when he demanded monetary help from him. In the latest proceedings, the sessions judge based his judgement on the fact that there is no document proving Shilpa and Shamita partnership in their parents' firm. There was no proof of them being involved in the loan payment. The court thus quashed the orders issuing summons against the sisters.
On the work front, Shilpa Shetty will soon entertain her fans in the online series ‘ Indian Police Force’ alongside actor Sidharth Malhotra. The series is the debut online venture of Rohit Shetty. Vivek Oberoi will also play an important role in the project. The action project is set to go on floors in the coming months. The release date is still kept under wraps by the team.
