The case involves the siphoning off of funds from JKCA to personal bank accounts, including those of JKCA office bearers. Farooq Abdullah was charge-sheeted in this case in 2022. The summons requires him to appear at the ED office in Srinagar for questioning. The case originated from a 2018 charge-sheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation against the same accused.
