Delhi University launched the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2024-25, introducing supernumerary seats for single-child girl students in every course. The CSAS website is now open for student registration, with admissions based on CUET scores and class 12 marks. On Monday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) unveiled the admit cards for the 2024 Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates, CUET UG. The CUET (UG) for 2024 will be administered in a hybrid format, combining computer-based and pen-and-paper modes, catering to approximately 13.48 lakh candidates across 380 cities within India and 26 cities abroad.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced plans for the third edition of the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) to be held over a concise seven-day period. Unlike previous years, there will be no score normalization, and all exams will be conducted in a single shift. With a record-breaking 13.4 lakh candidates registered, the exam will cover 15 subjects in pen-paper mode and 48 subjects in computer-based mode. Asked about the reasons behind no normalisation of scores in CUET-PG, Kumar said, "The PG exam was held in a single sitting for the majority of subjects, while in the UG exam, the test was conducted in different phases and shifts. Hence, scores had to be normalised to provide a level playing field for all candidates."

At least 12 candidates have scored 100 percentile normalised score in all five subjects in CUET-UG while 104 got the perfect score in four subjects, according to National Testing Agency (NTA) officials. The results for the debut edition of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG were declared earlier in the day.
