    CM Yogi releases Asiatic Lion pair 'Bharat' and 'Gauri' in Gorakhpur Zoo

    Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath released Asiatic lions 'Bharat' and 'Gauri' into their enclosure at Gorakhpur Zoo on Saturday. The lions, brought from Etawa Lion Safari in May, can now be viewed by zoo visitors. Adityanath celebrated the occasion by planting a 'Harishankari' sapling, promoting environmental conservation. During his visit, he fed rhinos 'Hari' and 'Gauri,' and offered ice cream and honey to a distressed Himalayan bear 'Billu.' The CM also interacted with children, emphasizing cleanliness and hydration, and named a rescued tiger 'Shakti.'
