    China-made drone, narcotics seized from field in Amritsar

    A joint operation by the Border Security Force and Punjab police in Amritsar recovered a Chinese drone and narcotics from a farming field following information provided by the BSF intelligence wing. A packet of suspected heroin weighing 557 grams was found in a plastic container wrapped with yellow adhesive tape, alongside a copper wire ring, in the village of Kahangarh.

    Narco-terror module busted in J-K's Kupwara, 3 held

    Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district arrested three individuals in connection with a narco-terror module, seizing arms, ammunition, and contraband. Acting on a tip, police and army personnel apprehended suspects involved in heroin trafficking. Two individuals were caught in possession of 500 grams of heroin, while a third was found with three pistols, ammunition, and explosives. Ongoing investigations are underway following the arrests.

    Attari drugs seizure case: Key accused 'Chacha' arrested

    NIA has arrested another key accused in the Rs 700 crore Attari border drugs seizure case, taking the total number of arrests in the matter to eight. An official statement issued on Wednesday said the accused, Athar Saeed alias Chacha, had handled the proceeds of the drugs on the directions of the kingpin, Shahid Ahmed. NIA investigations have revealed that Saeed was instrumental in creating and sustaining a network of hawala operators and others for the transfer of the money earned from the sale of the narcotics from India to Afghanistan and to the UAE.
