    The platform fee, which is a per-order flat charge, has been hiked in Zomato's main markets like National Capital Region, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Lucknow. Sources said Zomato services 2.0-2.2 million orders per day, and a Re 1 increase for a large order base could add substantially to the company’s earnings over a quarter.

    RCF aims to roll out first prototype of Vande Metro coach by April, says its general manager

    The Rail Coach Factory (RCF) in Punjab is set to release the first prototype of the Vande Metro coach for intercity travel by April 2021. The train, designed on the concept of India's first indigenous semi-high-speed train Vande Bharat, will cater to intercity passengers covering up to 250 km. Each coach will have 16 air-conditioned coaches and can run at a maximum speed of 130 km per hour.
