While being assaulted by Kumar, Maliwal told him that she was having her periods, but to no avail.

    The ruling Bhartiyal Janata Party (BJP) has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of shielding his personal assistant, Bibhav Kumar, in connection with an alleged assault on Rajya Sabha MP and former DCW chairperson Swati Maliwal. The AAP initially reserving silence, but later admitted to the incident. AAP leader Sanjay Singh stated that Kejriwal had taken cognisance of the incident and directed strict action.
