Mumbai rains: NDRF deploy teams to 'avert' flood-like situation
In response to severe waterlogging from heavy rains in Mumbai, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has deployed teams to various areas, including Thane, Vasai, Mahad, Chiplun, Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Sindhudurg, Andheri, and Nagpur. The NDRF aims to prevent incidents and respond to potential flood situations. The Met Department predicts light to moderate rainfall in Mumbai over the next three hours.
