Land-for-Jobs Case: CBI files fresh charge sheet against Lalu's officer on special duty, 2 others
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a supplementary chargesheet in the land-for-jobs case against three individuals, including Bhola Yadav, the former officer on special duty to RJD supremo Lalu Prasad. The chargesheet also includes two candidates who allegedly secured jobs illegally in the railways by giving away their land. The chargesheet highlights Yadav's role in facilitating the case, with the recovery of a hard disk containing a list of over 1,500 candidates who were allegedly granted jobs illegally.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned a former railways official in the land-for-jobs case involving Lalu Prasad and his family. The agency plans to file a final charge sheet soon and start the trial in a local court. In a supplementary charge sheet filed in July last year, the CBI had revealed the alleged involvement of Gupta for the first time. It had also informed a local court that Gupta's "role has been revealed during the investigation and certain other individuals are also under investigation."

Land-for-Jobs Case: CBI likely to file 'comprehensive' charge sheet
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is expected to file a comprehensive charge sheet in the land-for-jobs case involving former Union minister Lalu Prasad, his wife Rabri Devi, and son Tejashwi Yadav. The charge sheet will also highlight the alleged role played by RJD Rajya Sabha member Prem Chand Gupta. Gupta, a close aide of Lalu Prasad, is alleged to have played a key role in illegally purchasing lands through a company to benefit Lalu and his family.

Tejashwi Yadav, who is accused in the land for job scam case, has been granted permission by the Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi to travel to Japan on an official visit. The court released his passport and directed him to provide an FDR bond of Rs 25 lakh and a travel itinerary. The Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi has issued summons to former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, and others in relation to a fresh chargesheet in the alleged Land for Job Scam case. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed the chargesheet, making it the second chargesheet against 17 accused. The case alleges that Lalu Yadav obtained pecuniary advantages by transferring landed property in the name of his family members in exchange for appointments in the Railways.
