Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate NTPC's various projects worth Rs 30,023 crore on March 4, 2024. The projects include the Telangana Super Thermal Power Project, North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project, Singrauli Super Thermal Power Project, Sipat Super Thermal Power Station, Green Hydrogen Plant, Flue gas CO2 to 4G Ethanol Plant, seawater to green hydrogen plant, and fly ash-based FALG Aggregate Plant.

Counsels for GE Power Akshay Sapre, along with Abhijit Swarup and Aneesha Rastogi from The Guild, a law firm, informed the tribunal that BHEL had sent a letter to GE Power to settle Rs 25 crore of debt amount owed to GE Power.
Govt says no plan formulated to phase out old coal-based power plants
The Indian government has not outlined any plans to phase out its old coal-based thermal power plants, according to Power Minister R K Singh. He said that thermal plant operators have been advised to enable the integration of wind and solar power into the grid wherever feasible, by implementing Renovations & Modernisation (R&M) and Life Extension (LE) of their units for running up to 2030 or beyond or operating in two-shift mode.
