Many Class 12 students find stats paper difficult

Ahmedabad: The Class 12 general stream students who took their statistics exam on Thursday, said the questions under Section C were unexpected with only two questions being sums and five being theoretical questions. Subject experts said Section C of statistics is worth 14 marks and normally has more sums.
Chirag Bhavsar, a statistics teacher said Section C normally includes a couple of questions on theory and the rest are sums.
“This year, the question paper had five theory questions and two sums. This came as a surprise for many students as they had prepared more sums. Those who focussed on theory will be able to score well,” Bhavsar said. He added that over all the questions were largely from the textbook. History exam for Class 12 general stream was held on Thursday. Experts said the paper was not difficult, but some students could not finish it in time.
