Photos: When 6 comic characters raised serious civic issues in Delhi

You may well be aware of potholes and cracks on Delhi roads, but Barbie and her friends were apparently not. TOI caught up with a few comic characters who found it tough to navigate the hindrances in the capital.

Barbie’s mate Ken and Gian, from Doraemon universe, are deep in the mucky water near Sarai Kale Khan ISBT. The pothole is a stone’s throw from the metro line and the bus terminus.

Suniyo has found himself in a large crater inside Khichripur village in east Delhi. Leaking sewage water has formed a smelly puddle on the road.

In Ghazipur Dairy village, a mud-splattered Nobita is stuck in a large water-filled pothole.

Nobita had to give his commando mate a hand on a damaged stretch of Ranjit Singh flyover, near Barakhamba Road crossing. The flank is towards Ramlila Ground.

Clearly a bad hair day for Barbie at the entry of the Barapullah flyover. While moving from Sarai Kale Khan towards Ashram, she also found several vehicles moving the wrong way.
