And to kick off their effort, the installation ceremony of the working committee of TTAG was held at the Taj Exotica, Benaulim on Tuesday evening. Ralph de Sousa was sworn in as president of TTAG for the second consecutive year.
The occasion was graced by chief minister Digambar Kamat and chief secretary JP Singh, while Dr M Modassir, secretary of the Tourism, Ports and Agriculture (government of Goa) was seated on the dais. At the event, executive committee members of TTAG were administered oath.
There were hoteliers and others from the hospitality and tourism sector present to witness the installation of the committee. At the post-event gathering, we saw general manager of The Aguada Hermitage and Fort Aguada Beach Resort, Nick Israel and general manager of Taj Exotica, Allwyn Drego who was sworn in as the vice-president of TTAG. There were a host of other invitees including GM Royal Goan Beach Club (Haathi Mahal), Andros Shaw along with GM RGBC (Benaulim) Matthew Erby.
Also seen were Tamara de Sousa along with Asheen Laljee and Yvette Das of de Sousa group. Having a good evening was customs commissioner C Mathur along with wife Punam.
