Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a historic victory in Arunachal Pradesh by winning all Lok Sabha seats in the state. The Northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh has two Lok Sabha constituencies: Arunachal Pradesh East and Arunachal Pradesh West. BJP's senior leader Kiren Rijiju has won the Arunachal West seat. He defeated Nabam Tuki by a margin of 100738 votes.
The state saw a contest between BJP and INDIA Bloc. Both Kiren Rijiju and Tapir Gao are BJP candidates for Arunachal Pradesh. Tapir Gao won from the Arunanchal Pradesh East seat. He defeated Indian National Congress' Bosiram Siram by a margin of 30421 votes. .
Sixty assembly seats of Arunachal Pradesh also went to polls with the Lok Sabha elections on April 19. BJP has received a landslide victory in assembly polls in the state.
Top parties in the state include BJP, Congress and JDU.

Key candidates in Arunachal Pradesh

The key candidates for Arunachal West seat are Kiren Rijiju of BJP and Congress' Nabam Tuki. Kiren Rijiju, a prominent figure in Arunachal Pradesh politics, has held this seat since 2014. Meanwhile, Nabam Tuki, an experienced politician and former state chief minister, is the candidate representing the Congress.
In the 2014 elections, Kiren Rijiju of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won in Arunachal West, defeating Nabam Tuki of the Indian National Congress (INC). Tapir Gao of the BJP won in Arunachal East, beating Lowangcha Wanglat of the INC by 69,948 votes. T

The main candidates for Arunachal West seat are Kiren Rijiju from the BJP and Nabam Tuki from the Congress. Kiren Rijiju, a prominent figure in Arunachal Pradesh politics, has held this seat since 2014. Meanwhile, Nabam Tuki, an experienced politician and former state chief minister, is the candidate representing the Congress.
Tapir Gao leads the BJP unit in Arunachal Pradesh. He was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha, representing Arunachal East for the BJP. Tapir won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections after defeats in 2009 and 2014.
