Robos on the roll: The campus of Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute of Technology was no less than a gaming arena, with super excited geeks deeply engaged with their machines to make them act like humans for the robo war ahead. The tech fest, Laqshya, was definitely a crowd puller and attracted many enthusiastic techies. To add to the entertainment, the band Blue Ballad performed to peppy Bollywood numbers and remained the high point of the do.With songs like Dilli Dilli and Ja Chudail, students swayed to the foot-tapping beats. “We practiced a lot for this performance. We are delighted to see such overwhelming response from the audience,” said Manish Jaiswal, the drummer of the band.
Wrestle-mania was awesome: Robo War and Wrestle-Mania stole the show as students jumped with excitement during this adrenaline-pumping segment of the fest. “Robo combat was the best part of this do. I loved how my buddies used their creative mind and created these machines to fight,” said Sharad Deep Singh, a student. The first prize in the Robo War segment was bagged by Prashant Jaiswal, Rupesh Wasnik, Lovely Verma, Rajarshi Dev Vaishanav, Rahul Jaiswal and Bhanu Das, while Harsh Chauhan, Ravi Sharma and Dipansh Chandrawanshi won the Wrestle-Mania round.
