Kolkata-based choreographer, Dev Govind Binani teaches dance steps to the garba revellers of Ranchi

Ranchi is gearing up for Navratri in a big way. So much so that dandiya and garba lovers of the city flew in a Kolkata-based choreographer, Dev Govind Binani, just to learn the dance steps properly.
At the end of the week-long crash course, the participants came together to display their skills. Dressed in traditional attire, the participants danced three-hour non-stop on songs such as E naam re and Odhni odhu.
Finally, two best couples were selected, along with best dancer, best bhabhi and best kid. “It was a good experience,” said Sangita Chitlangia, president of Maheswari Mahila Samiti, one of the organisers of the event.
