Despite a strong start and positive reviews, its global earnings are just $65 million against a $168 million budget. It's set to surpass ₹15 crore by the weekend.

The topsy turvy journey of George Miller’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, a prequel to the 2015 superhit film Mad Max: Fury Road continues. The film over the weekend, had earned Rs 9.27 crore and on Monday, it held on to its numbers strongly as it dropped only by 53 % to collect Rs 1.17 crore. On Tuesday, the numbers showed a growth to collect Rs 1.23 crore.
The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 11.69 crore and has a strong possibility of crossing Rs 15 crore mark by the weekend.
The film is also having a decent to below average performance at the box office. Given that it has been made on a budget of US $ 168 million, the film has overall only managed to earn US $ 65 million since the day of its release, and this is despite the fact that the film got glowing reviews by critics not only in the home country of the United States of America, but also across the globe. In US, the film released during the Memorial Day weekend and as predicted, the film earned about US $ 32 million. The film has topped the charts for the Memorial Day weekend, but it is the lowest collection since the release of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom which had collected Us $33.9 million.
The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy, she steps into the shoes of Charlize Theron to play the role of Furiosa while Chris Hemsworth plays the negative lead Dementus.
