Sanjay Dutt has been part of the movie business for nearly 40 years and has seen a lot of ups and downs. One of the major highs of his career was the release of Munna Bhai MBBS, where he played the lovable don Murli Prasad Sharma, The film recently completed 20 years but the film is still fresh in the minds of the audience and its dialogues are still part of pop culture. Now actor Kurush Deboo who plays Dr Rustom Pavri in the film has opened up about his experience of working with the deadly Dutt.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kurush mentioned that Dutt was very casual and funny. He shared that Chief assistant director Urmi Juvekar would read out lines to Dutt 2-3 times and he would be able to remember everything. He also highlighted that a lot of dialogues had medical terms but Dutt would remember them instantly whereas he would take an hour to remember all of it.

Kurush also mentioned that Dutt likes to give a shot in a one take,adding that he doesn’t like retakes. But it is always open to his co-actors if they want to go for another take. Recalling an incident he shared that during a scene he shared that he wanted to go for another take but was not sure if Rajkumar Hirani ( Director) would allow, so Dutt took it upon himself and told the director that he wanted a retake and Raju agreed.
Kurush also added that Dutt would play carrom with him, Arshad Warsi, Jimmy Sheirgill,and Bomi Dotiwala (Rustom’s father) during the shooting.
