Exclusive: Meet the cast of Kaneyadavara Bagge Prakatane
Kaneyadavara Bagge Prakatane, which is about missing people, breaks the stereotype of a film plot revolving around lead actors. Instead, it has a strong ensemble cast. We spoke to each actor, who revealed details about their characters.
Ashika Ranganath as Rashmika
I play a bold and open-minded girl who sees things either as positive or negative. She's someone who goes with the flow of life. She meets three senior people in Thailand and how she gets along with them is the essence of my character.
It’s a special role and I enjoyed essaying it as there is no hero heroine in the movie.
Tilak Shekar as Yashwanth
I play an investigating officer who has been assigned to solve a mysterious missing case, which forms the crux of the story. My character tries his best to figure out the reason behind the missing cases and how to track them down, which is a huge challenge for him.
Rangayana Raghu as Rangappa
I portray the role of Rangappa, whose journey goes from a village to Bangkok. He is on a mission, which he tries to accomplish by collaborating with two friends. My character highlights the plight of senior citizens, who are often neglected by their families. The film shows what Rangappa does to get his family to hear his voice.

Tabla Nani as Narayanappa
I essay the character of Narayanappa, who values friendship more than blood relations. He is ready to do anything for the sake of his friends. He lives in a village and believes that he needs a son to carry forward his family legacy. He travels to Bangkok for a vital reason and the character raises a debate about the need for orphanages and old-age homes in society.
Chikkanna as Chikku
My character is a tourist guide from Karnataka who has settled in Bangkok. As a tourist guide, he is someone who is keen to show people various locations and his interaction with three senior citizens makes the plot exciting.
Ravishankar as Krishnamurthy
I play an arrogant man Krishnamurthy, who has been aggressive since his childhood days. My role is set in the 1960s, 1980s and in the present day. As he ages, he mellows down and becomes responsible. So, you get to see how a person changes through my character.
