Well-known Tamil film comedian Bonda Mani passed away at the age of 60 due to kidney illness. He had been suffering from health issues and fainted at his Chennai residence, leading to his death. Bonda Mani had received financial help from actors Dhanush and Vijay Sethupathi for his medical treatment in September 2022. His demise has saddened the Tamil film industry, with many stars expressing their condolences on social media.

Actor Bonda Mani who is a well known comedian in the Tamil film industry breathed his last on December 23. The 60-year-old actor was suffering from health issues and he succumbed due to his kidney illness. According to media reports, Bonda Mani, last night fainted at his residence last night in Chennai and was rushed to the government hospital where he was declared dead by the doctors after an examination.
Bonda Mani has been suffering from a long time illness and the actor was under medication.In September 2022, he underwent a medica treatment as both his kidneys failed and a video then surfaced about the actor toiling and suffering, and at that time actors Dhanush and Vijay Sethupathi each donated Rs 1 lakh for Bonda Mani's treatment.
Bonda Mani has appeared in many films alongside Vadivelu and even he has helped him financially with the medical treatment. The demise of the actor has bought sadness to the Tamil film industry and many stars took to social media to share their condolences.
Bonda Mani is survived by his wife, a son and daughter and the late actor's final rites will take place at 5 pm on December 24.
