Nithya Menen will play a soup girl in this fantasy romcom

Nithya Menen will be playing the protagonist in debutant director Kamini’s yet-to-betitled fantasy romcom. The film will also feature Prateik Babbar, Vinay Rai, Navdeep and Deepak Parambol in crucial roles.
Talking about the film, Kamini, who has previously worked as an assistant to Vishnuvaradhan, tells us, “The film revolves around the life of a soup girl, her challenges, and her perspective on relationships.Typically, every film showcases relationship issues from the boy’s side, but this one will revolve around a girl’s breakup and how she moves forward after that. It also deals with the challenges she faces in relationships.”
She adds, “The film talks about how a girl navigates the challenges she faces and learns to make her own choices, breaks her barriers and the stereotypes in society, and transforms herself through her (ex)periences.”
Preetha Jayaraman is the cinematographer for the film, while Shanmugaraja is handling the art direction.
