‘Ravanasura’ Box-office collections Day 1: Ravi Teja and Sudheer Varma’s film mints over Rs. 9 crores on its opening day

‘Ravanasura’ is a psychological action thriller film written by Sudheer Varma along with Srikanth Vissa, starring Jayaram, Sushanth, Murali Sharma, Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Daksha Nagarkar and Pujitha Ponnada.
The film that was released in theatres yesterday (April 7) is reported to have minted over Rs 9 crores on its opening day from across all languages.The crime thriller film that has received an A-certificate due to its violent content received mixed positive reviews from moviegoers, as well as film critics. The film reportedly had 52% occupancy on its day 1 morning and matinee shows while is little less towards the end of the day. The film is expected to mint Rs. 6-8 crores on its days 2 and 3 due to the week-ends.
Moreover, the film’s digital rights have been sold to happening media houses for Rs 24 crores and it is expected to recover the amount in the first three days of its release.
