Payal Rajput settles dispute with 'Rakshana' producers; film to release on June 7

Actress Payal Rajput recently found herself at the center of a controversy with the producers of her film 'Rakshana.' The dispute, which began over claims of unpaid dues and foul language, has now reached a settlement. Payal had accused the producer-director, Prandeep Thakore, of not paying her full remuneration and attempting to release the film without her consent.
Payal, who plays the lead in 'Rakshana,' which was shot in 2019 and 2022, took to social media to allege that the producers had threatened to ban her from Tollywood if she did not promote the film. This led to a heated exchange. She claimed the producers were trying to use her recent success for the film’s promotion without settling her dues.
The producers, on the other hand, filed a complaint with the Telugu Film Producers Council (TFPC), accusing Payal of not providing dates for the film’s promotion. They argued that they were ready to pay her the remaining amount if she agreed to promote the film, but she had declined.

The situation escalated as both parties exchanged accusations, with Payal’s team considering legal action. However, in a surprising turn of events, both Payal and Prandeep have now reached a compromise. The actress has withdrawn all her allegations, and the producers have agreed to clear her dues.
Payal, who had initially expressed her frustration over the producers’ alleged use of foul language and their threats, has now decided to move forward. She acknowledged the producers’ willingness to resolve the matter and agreed to the film's release.

'Rakshana' is now scheduled to release on June 7, bringing an end to the prolonged production saga.
