The Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer 'Thandel' is a coastal drama directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Inspired by the 2010 Srikakulam event, the film shooting began last year and the makers have now wrapped a major shooting schedule in Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam.
The actor and actress recently mart their fans as well while shooting for the film in Srikakulam and the photos and videos of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi went viral on social media as they visited the Arasavelli Surya Narayana temple in Andhra Pradesh last week amidst their shooting schedule.

The film explains the story of love between a fisherman who is caught by the Pakistan army when he crosses the water border and his love interest who is waiting for him on the shore, not knowing his situation in the neighbouring country.
The film's shooting has almost been completed and it will soon move into post-production. The makers are expected to soon launch the first single and announce the release date of the movie. 'Thandel's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and the technical crew of the film has editor Navin Nooli and cinematographer Shamdat.
