Gattimela to Mangala Gowri Madve: A look at the TRP performance of popular TV shows

There are no major changes in the latest TRP report of Kannada television. Considering the previous week's TRP chart, the most-watched daily soaps of Kannada TV seem to have retained their positions.
Gattimela continues to top the TRP charts. The show has consistently performed well throughout the year. Gattimela seems to have got the viewers hooked to the small screens with its interesting storyline.
On the second spot is Jothe Jotheyalli, a show that deals with the story of a middle-aged business tycoon and his young muse. The show marks the TV comeback of ace actor Anirudh Jatkar. Being a star-studded show, Jothe Jotheyalli also has B M Venkatesh, Vijaylakshmi Singh, Devaiah Kalakanda, Shilpa Iyer, and many others in prominent roles.
Supernatural fiction Naagini 2 has bagged the third position. The show recently witnessed a drastic leap in terms of storyline. From the entry of Ichadaari Naagini Amrutha to Shivani taking revenge on Dighvijay and the truth behind Adisesha's reincarnation, Naagini 2 has introduced some nail-biting twists of late.
Mokshita Pai starrer Paaru has secured the fourth position. The theme of the serial revolves around Paaru, a honest housemaid who works for the welfare of the Akhilandeshwari family of Arasanakote. Last but not the least is Mangala Gowri Madve on the fifth spot. Kannada daily soap Putta Gowri Madve, which featured many twists including the introduction of a brand new storyline, was renamed as 'Mangala Gowri Madve'.
