Addressing the unsettling situation of multiple bomb threats received by several private schools in Bengaluru on December 1, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar reassured parents and children that it was a hoax. Emphasizing that there is no need for worry or panic, he stated that the authorities, including the cybercrime department, are actively working to trace the source of the threats. The bomb threats conveyed through emails and phone calls, claimed the presence of explosives on school premises, prompting the deployment of a bomb squad and a specialized dog squad. DK Shivakumar urged parents to remain calm, assuring them of the government's commitment to ensuring the safety of their children.
