Privacy Policy
Information Collected
Medical ID Records does not collect any app usage metrics. The app stores Medical ID information locally on your device and syncs the first Medical ID to a paired Apple Watch if the Watch app is also installed. Your Medical ID information is not included in your Health Data or shared with any other apps or services unless you explicitly choose to create a backup of your information.
A backup can be saved to iCloud Drive or a file provider service such as Dropbox. Alternatively, you can email/AirDrop it to yourself to quickly transfer the information to another device. A backup can optionally be protected with a password for extra security. The creation, lifetime and location of these backups is all under your control. The app does not keep any record of when backups are made or where they are shared. Backups contain the creation date and the name of the device they were created from in order to help you identify the content when restoring from a backup.

If I decide to change this privacy policy, I will post those changes on this page. Summary of changes so far:
