FREE WEATHERIZATION 

Weatherization involves the installation of measures designed to make your home more energy-efficient. The program is free to income-eligible homeowners and renters. 

•  Weatherize your home to be warmer in the winter. 
• Weatherize your home to be cooler in the summer. 
• Weatherize your home to lower your gas and electric bills. 

An energy audit will determine which measures your home is eligible for and may include: 

• Wall Insulation 
• Attic Insulation and/or Ventilation 
• Floor/Foundation Insulation 
• Air Sealing Measures for Doors, Windows, and Accesses 
• Furnace Tune-Up or Replacement 
• Refrigerator Replacement 
• Other Energy-Saving Measures such as Lightbulbs, Dryer Vents, Etc.

Allen Park, Brownstown, Ecorse, Flat Rock, Gibraltar, Grosse Ile, Lincoln Park, Melvindale, River Rouge Riverview, Rockwoo, Southgate, Trenton, Woodhaven, Wyandotte
