This stunning Cornwall beach is hiding a cheeky secret as families might want to avoid this secluded spot this summer.

Pedn Vounder beach is tucked away on the south coast of the Penwith peninsula in Cornwall, located in the famous Carbis Bay Estate known for its luxurious beaches.

It has recently gone viral on TikTok thanks to its uncanny resemblance to the Caribbean, with crystal clear water and golden sand spanning the beach.

The tidal beach means it entirely disappears when the tide is high, making it essential to plan your visit ahead of time to avoid getting caught out.

But the hidden spot is also hiding a cheeky secret, with tourists warned they may get a bit of an eyeful if they opt to visit the pretty location.

While the beach is not officially a naturist spot, it is often used as one, reports CornwallLive. Signs on the path down give a heads-up with a polite notice: "Naturists may be seen beyond this point".

It is also a bit of a tricky walk down, with access to the beach limited. To get to it by foot, you need to climb down steep rocks which can prove challenging.

Despite this, it can get very busy during peak season as Brits flock to see the crystal clear water. It's recommended to visit just before the school summer break to avoid the crowds.

It enjoys prime sunshine in the middle of the day due to its south-facing position and high cliffs, but it becomes shaded in the late afternoon.

Visitors have been quick to praise Pedn Vounder, with glowing reviews online. One Google review exclaimed: "Totally mind-blowing. What a fabulous colour of water, totally loved it."

Others have echoed this sentiment, with comments like: "The best and most amazing beach you can find in the UK. This place made us think we were in the Caribbean."

Another visitor was equally impressed, writing: "Beautiful beach with azure blue water, nice sand, cliffs either side and plenty of space. Water was amazing to swim in."

For those visiting, make sure you stock up on drinks and food ahead of time as there are no cafes or on-site toilets due to its remote location.
