If you're looking for your next favorite thai restaurant, I highly recommend bangrak!!! I have loved every drink and food item i've ordered here, and it's always a fun time. I do recommend joining the waitlist early on a friday night or weekend because it gets busy!
I love ordering the pad see eiw with beef or the green curry!! I always get the level three spice and it's perfect for me. The flavor is always so good and authentic. Their drinks are so strong and yummy, and I love the presentation with the sparklers.
I feel like the staff here are super generous and personable which is always a bonus in a restaurant. I love coming here and I crave it often, everyone should try it once while they're in belltown!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Zubiya R.Seattle, WA01037Sep 10, 20241 check-in
If you're looking for a taste of authentic Thai street food in Seattle, Bangrak Market is the spot! Their Drunken Noodles with Tofu are a hit--perfectly spicy and full of flavor. Also loved the **Tom Yum Nam Sai** (available with chicken, prawns, tofu, or seafood) for that classic hot and sour soup fix. Don't miss out on their **Pad See Ew** with veggies or tofu for a savory noodle treat, and if you're into unique sides, the **Corn Fritters** and **Taro Cakes** are delicious non-pork options. The atmosphere? Cozy, vibrant, and feels like you're dining at a Thai night market. Worth a visit for late-night bites or casual dinners. #SeattleEats #ThaiStreetFood
Mind you the wait can be pretty long during the regular weekend dinner hours. The staff does pretty good job of seating people as quickly as possibleHelpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rachel S.Fremont, CA5618995Sep 8, 2024
This place is super busy. We waited half an hour for a table. The food was good, but the music was so loud, the waiter couldn't hear us and messed up on our order. We wouldn't have minded so much if he had acknowledged the misunderstanding and tried to compensate, but instead was more annoyed at us for bringing it to his attention.
I would not recommend first dates because it's way too loud and you'll be screaming at each other just to be heard and definitely not for anyone sensitive to loud music or noise in general.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - William H.San Francisco, CA4751947Sep 6, 20241 check-in
**overall 4 stars**
Amazing Asian food! This place is great for some authentic Thai food and offers some of the less basic dishes that I would recommend people try to venture and try beyond the basic pad Thais. This venue definitely trends towards a younger demographic and I felt like I was transported back to a house party in college where you have a guy acting out his part time DJ dream.
Food: 4.25 stars out of 5
In general- Thai food tends to be spicy and this place was no different as we asked for 2/5 and 3/5 spice level and it was a good kick. I tend to enjoy spicy food so for those who don't do well, ask for 1/5 or no spice.
Papaya salad w/ corn, tomatoes, greens 5/5 stars - so good we got it a second time the following night. This is a refreshing version where the sweetness of the corn and tomato stands out.
Grilled squid: 4/5
the squid was nicely grilled, not overly chewy and had a nice char taste but the green chili sauce was the star and elevated the dish.
Pad kee mao: 3/5
Very average - nothing against this dish just basic and a bit disappointing relative to how good everything else was
Kao soi chiang mai - 5/5. **Recommended **
This is sort of like a curry broth noodle. It was fantastic and something that isn't really found in a lot of the more basic Thai restaurants from what I've seen.
Service - 3/5
Standard. Nothing was particularly good or bad
Venue - . Personally 5/5 but can be 1/5 depending on who you are
If you're looking for a lively place to go out with friends and have a good time, share a family meal and you are in your mid 20s-30s this is definitely the place for you. The music playlist sounded like it was straight from a frat rush party. We were actually sat in the back and next to a table of 10 celebrating a birthday. The whole place went dark and started to blast music as a server brought out tray of 20 shots and a huge birthday firework sparkler. Would not recommend for an intimate date or to come with your elders if you want something quiet (or maybe request to sit outside where it seemed more calm)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 12, 2024
Excellent recommendation by hotel! Husband had prawns and then we shared the pork skewers and the crying tiger was to die for! Need to order by phone with
Bar code! Very busy and quite popular place! Cute atmosphereHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 11, 2024Updated review
Lively ambiance that definitely gives off street food vibes. Almost all the dishes here are tasty, but my favorites are the curries, soups, and grilled meats. They also have a lot of unique cocktails. Prices are reasonable for Seattle. Great for groups as well

The Tom Kha was extremely big and hit the right notes of sour and coconuty. I also tried the Panang curry and really liked it as it was spiced very well. A plus here is that each table has four jars of condiments that you can add for spice or sourness.

After a night of drinking, we need some comfort food and we found this place. Good thing we did! Visiting from L.A. , I haven't been to a Thai place like this one. This place had a full bar and music, and this place was poppin! Lucky for us, we didn't have to wait for a table for 2, in L.A, this place would be a 1.5 hr wait or longer. Staff worked quick and the decor was on point and we got food fast.
The Thai food here is legit Thai food, Authentic as it can get. You can smell it the air. The clear broth noodle soup was delicious and exactly what I was looking for. There is a large drink menu and too bad I drank too much the night before. The restaurant is big and can accommodate to big parties. If you are from out of town, and looking for some legit Thai food, this is the place to go.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 2, 20241 check-in
Okay so we ordered from the bangrak market using Uber eats as the delivery platform. The delivery was super late, the driver said the restaurant was busy, but the food did arrive cold. So really that's the only reason a point was docked.
We ended up having to microwave the food. But let me tell you; we were definitely crying when we ate the crying tiger dish; but it was tears of joy! The meat was soft and tender and fatty. It melted in your mouth!
The pad see eiw and the pad Thai were on point. They had a solid level of spice and the flavors were some of the best Thai food we've had in a while.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sep 6, 2024
Great Thai food spot right smack dab in the middle of Belltown. They were able to accommodate the large party we brought when we had dinner here (7 ppl), and the service was exceptionally fast. The portions for the food were huge but I do think that it can be kind of rowdy and noisy inside.

This place is a legit Thai restaurant in Seattle. Adds a nice unique vibe to Seattle. They serve authentic Thai dishes. No modification nor adjustment needed, it's straight up street and comfort Thai food flavors . We ordered Bombing fish balls and Kia Gai. Food came quickly, cooked and served fresh. Not salty and just the right spice level as we requested. To wash it down , traditional Thai Iced coffee. The coffee is mild nonetheless it's good and satisfies my caffeine craving. Definitely need to come back here to try more new their offerings next time. When in Seattle a must try for Thai food.
