Kressig (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives to represent District 75. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. He advanced from the Democratic primary on June 4, 2024.
Biography
Bob Kressig was born in Dubuque, Iowa. Kressig graduated from Waterloo West High School. He has served as the chair of Veridian Credit Union, on the Statewide Interoperable Communications System Board, and on the University of Northern Iowa College of Education Advisory Board.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 14, 2014. Incumbent Bob Kressig was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Rick Giarusso was unopposed in the Republican primary. Kressig faced Giarusso in the general election.[6][7][8] Incumbent Kressig defeated Giarusso in the general election.[9]

On November 4, 2008, Kressig was re-elected to the 19th District Seat in the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Carlin Hageman (R).[13] Kressig raised $88,533 for his campaign, while Hageman raised $51,432.[14]

Kressig is a member of the Cedar Falls Lions Club, John Deere Community Credit Union, Nazareth Lutheran Church, Rainbow Cyclists of Waterloo and the United Auto Workers.[15]
