Dean Fisher (Republican Party) is a member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 53. He assumed office on January 1, 2023. His current term ends on January 1, 2025.

Fisher (Republican Party) is running for re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives to represent District 53. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. He advanced from the Republican primary on June 4, 2024.

Biography

Dean Fisher was born in Garwin, Iowa. Fisher graduated from South Tama Community High School in 1975.[1] He earned a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering technology from DeVry Institute of Technology in 1978. Fisher's career experience includes working as a partner with Fisher Family Farms, a farmer, and an engineering manager with Motorola Automotive Controls & Energy Sector. He has served as the chair of the Tama County Republican Party, as the Indian Village Township clerk, and on the Tama County Pioneer Cemetery Board.[1][2]
