Ray Sorensen (Republican Party) (also known as Bubba) is a member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 23. He assumed office on January 1, 2023. His current term ends on January 1, 2025.
Sorensen (Republican Party) is running for re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives to represent District 23. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. He advanced from the Republican primary on June 4, 2024.
Biography
Ray Sorenson was born in Creston, Iowa.[1][2] Sorenson graduated from Bridgewater-Fontanelle High School (now Nodaway Valley).[1] His career experience includes owning a business and working as a mural artist with Sorensen Studios/The Freedom Rock, a photographer, and a graphic designer with Edje Technologies and Livestock Plus.[1][2][3] Sorenson has been affiliated with the Farm Bureau, the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association, and the Iowa Corn Growers Association.[2]
