    Akshay Kumar's ‘Bade Miya Chote Miya’ sells over 43K tickets, may earn over Rs 1 cr on day 1

The narrative follows two elite soldiers, Firoz and Rakesh, as they undertake a perilous mission to retrieve a stolen weapon from Kabir, a deranged scientist. Kabir's nefarious plan involves utilizing artificial intelligence to unleash chaos upon India, setting the stage for an epic showdown between good and evil.

    Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar (best known for films such as ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, etc), ‘Bade Miya Chote Miya’ features action stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.

    Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff’s upcoming action thriller ‘Bade Miya Chote Miya’ may just open big on Eid! According to a box-office tracking portal Sacnilk.com report, the action extravaganza has sold 43,000 tickets. This translates to a gross earning of Rs 1.1 crore on day one.

    Earlier, the movie was supposed to hit the theatres on April 10 (Wednesday), along with Ajay Devgn’s sports drama ‘Maidaan’. However, as Eid is being observed on April 11 this year, the release date has been changed to Thursday.

    “Bade aur Chote aur poori ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ ki team ki taraf se aap sab ko advance mein Eid Mubarak. Dekhiye #BadeMiyanChoteMiyan on Eid with your entire family, now releasing on 11th April only in cinemas,” wrote Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ on his Instagram page.


    About ‘Bade Miya Chote Miya’

    Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar (best known for films such as ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, etc), ‘Bade Miya Chote Miya’ features action stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. The story revolves around two elite soldiers Firoz and Rakesh, who embark on a dangerous mission to recover a stolen weapon from Kabir, a mad scientist, who intends to use AI to wreak havoc in India.

    Although it shares its name with the 1998 comic coper which had Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in the lead, the film is reportedly not a remake of the ‘90s blockbuster. However, both movies have been produced by Pooja Entertainment.

    Aside from Kumar and Shroff, the movie also features Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F (Furniturewala) and Manushi Chillar. It will also star Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist Kabir.
