The pilgrimage can be accessed through an uphill trek of 43 km from the south Kashmir Pahalgam base camp or a 14 km uphill trek from the north Kashmir Baltal base camp.

"I wish the yatra goes on smoothly. I request the yatris to carry their RFID cards," he told reporters here.
