    JEE-Advanced Topper 2024: IIT Delhi zone's Ved Lahoti tops

    JEE-Advanced Topper 2024: Ved Lahoti from the IIT Delhi zone secured the top rank in the JEE-Advanced 2024 by scoring 355 out of 360 marks. Out of 48,248 qualifiers, 7,964 are female. Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from the IIT Bombay zone is the highest-ranked female, placing 7th overall. JEE-Advanced admits students to India's prestigious IITs.

    According to a press release issued by the organising chairperson, IIT Madras, out of the total qualified candidates, 7964 are female and 40284 are male. Total number of qualified general candidates is 14319 and that of qualified general (economically weaker sections) candidates is 5508. A total of 9499 OBC-NCL have qualified, as have 13835 SC candidates and 5087 ST candidates.

    According to IIT Madras, which conducted the exam this year, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from the IIT Bombay zone is the highest-ranked female candidate, scoring 322 out of 360 marks and achieving an all-India rank of 7. Other candidates in the top 10 include Aditya (IIT Delhi zone), Bhogalpalli Sandesh (IIT Madras zone), Rhythm Kedia (IIT Roorkee zone), Putti Kushal Kumar (IIT Madras zone), Rajdeep Mishra (IIT Bombay zone), Koduri Tejeswar (IIT Madras zone), Dhruvi Hemant Doshi (IIT Bombay zone), and Alladabona SSDB Sidhvik Suhas (IIT Madras zone).
