    BJP demands arrest of BRS chief KCR in phone tapping case

    Former Deputy Commissioner of Police P Radhakrishna Rao accused BRS leader K Chandrashekhar Rao of involvement in a phone tapping scandal. BJP MP Bandi Sanjay demanded KCR's immediate arrest. The scandal allegedly involved intercepting communications of political figures, businessmen, and celebrities during the 2023 Telangana assembly elections. Sanjay condemned the phone tapping as a violation of Constitutional and human rights.

    According to the sources, BRS chief KCR was injured and admitted to Yasodha Hospital. He fell at his farmhouse in Erravalli on Thursday night. He was shifted to Yashoda Hospital.

    Though people are still happy about the Telangana statehood but many don't want to remain prisoners of that emotion forever. "The Telangana statehood happened and yes, KCR garu got it for us. But people have moved on to daily issues of their life. Now we need solutions for them," said Balaram Lodha, a shopkeeper.
