KVS Lottery Result 2024-25: Second admission list for Class 1 expected soon; Here's all you need to know
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is set to release the second lottery list for class 1 admissions for the academic year 2024-25. Parents can expect the list to be out soon, possibly today, April 29, 2024. The second list will fill vacancies remaining after the first admission list was declared on April 19, 2024.

No proposal to revive MP quota for admissions in Kendriya Vidyalayas: Education Ministry
The Union Ministry of Education on Monday ruled out any proposal to revive the quota for Members of Parliament for admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) across the country. Union Minister of State for Education Annapurna Devi said this in response to a written question in the Rajya Sabha.

According to the official, educational institutions are present in every nook and corner of the country, thus making skilling accessible to the youth. "By utilising the existing infrastructure in these institutions, skilling can be delivered in remote corners, where private training providers may not find it feasible," the official said. Further, these institutions are already recognised or affiliated to some regulatory authorities after undergoing a certain level of scrutiny as per extant rules and fresh affiliation will lead to duplication of efforts.

Candidates are advised to keep a printout of their admit card for future reference. The exam for Assistant Commissioner and Principal is scheduled to be conducted on February 7 and 8, 2023 respectively. Whereas, the exam for Vice-Principal & PRT(Music) will be held on February 9, 2023.
