    Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced the 'Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana' on Saturday, a pilgrimage scheme aimed at senior citizens of all religions. The scheme is intended to assist elderly individuals who face challenges in visiting pilgrimage sites due to financial constraints, lack of companionship, or other limitations. Shinde made this announcement while responding to a calling attention notice raised by Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik in the state legislative assembly.
