    Death toll in Mumbai sewer drain tragedy rises to three

    Three labourers fell into an underground sewer in Mumbai's Malad suburb, with the death toll rising to three. The incident, which occurred at Malwani Gate number 8 on Abdul Hameed Road in Ambujwadi area, initially claimed the lives of Suraj Kevat (18) and Bikas Kevat (20). The third victim, Ramlagan Chotelal Kevat (45), succumbed on Saturday after two days of treatment. They were cleaning the sewer drain when the accident happened, and an accidental death report has been registered while further investigation is underway.
