MUMBAI: Three years after making it compulsory in non-state board schools, students of classes 8 onwards will also be graded in Marathi language from the upcoming academic year 2023-24.
Currently, students from classes 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 have been learning Marathi. From next academic year, students up to class 9 will learn it.
