It's official! Jared Leto's 'Morbius' will fly into theatres on April 1.
The makers on Wednesday dropped official posters of the film featuring the lead cast including Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris and Tyrese Gibson. The film that will see the Oscar-winner transform into the legendary Marvel anti-hero, is set to have a wide release in India and will hit screens in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

'Morbius' was scheduled to release in theatres on January 28, but was postponed to April 1 due to the recent surge of Omicron variant COVID-19 cases.

The film will now clash with John Abraham's Bollywood films 'Attack'. It is also rumoured that Akshay Kumar's 'Prithviraj' is also eyeing the same release date.
The release comes just before the extended Easter weekend.

In the film, Leto features as Michael Morbius, a Nobel Prize-winning biochemist who tries to cure a rare blood disease using an experimental treatment that combines electroshock therapy and bats. However, the results turn out to be catastrophic and he developed vampiric qualities.
The film, on Spider-Man's nemesis, was previously scheduled to premiere in July 2020 but has since been delayed several times amid the pandemic.
