Actress Nayanthara was reportedly said to replace Kareena Kapoor Khan in the film 'Toxic' that stars Yash, and now News 18 reported that the actress has begun shooting for her portions in the film along with the lead actor.
'Toxic' was announced a couple of months ago, and it created huge anticipation. The film will be shot in India and the UK, and the first schedule in India is now underway.
Pinkvilla reports suggest that after the shooting in India, the makers will shoot for the long portions of the film in the UK, which will go on for 150 to 200 days.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is said to have Yash playing the role of an underworld leader, and the film will describe his character as a don. The film's story is said to have been inspired by the English series Peaky Blinders, and the movie is an action-gangster drama.
Starring Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, and Huma Qureshi, the film is set to release in theaters on April 10, 2025, marking the third anniversary of 'KGF 2'. While Yash plays the protagonist, Nayanthara is said to play his sister, Kiara Advani, as Yash's love interest, and Huma Qureshi plays the antagonist in the movie.
