‘Kanakarajyam’: ‘Kanthurannu’ song from Indrans and Murali Gopy starrer will brighten up your day - WATCH

Sagar Hari directorial 'Kanakarajyam,' starring Indrans and Murali Gopy in the lead roles is heading towards its release in the theatres, and the makers have now dropped the first song.
The song composed by Arun Muraleedharan is a heartwarming melody which is sure to strike a chord with every Malayali music lover. The beautiful song is penned by Dhanya Suresh Menon and sung by Abhijith Anilkumar and Nithya Mammen.Set in the greenery of an Alappuzha village, the song evokes a nostalgic vibe, reminiscent of 2000s songs. The song features the life of a middle class family, and the quaint events of the village life is sure to put a smile on your face.

Directed by Sagar Hari, 'Kanakarajyam' is a family drama based on an incident that happened in Alappuzha a few years ago. The upcoming project marks Sagar Hari's third directorial venture after 'Sathyam Mathrame Bodhippikkoo' and 'Veekam.' Indrans and Murali Gopy play the lead roles, while actors Sreejith Ravi, Dinesh Prabhakar, Kottayam Ramesh, Rajesh Sharma, Unni Raj, Achuthanandan, James Eliya, Harish Pengan, Remya Suresh, Saina Krishna, and Sreevidya Mullassery have roped in to play some of the important characters in the film.

On the technical side, the cinematography is done by Abhilash Shankar and the editing by Ajeesh. Arun Muraleedharan composes the music while the lyrics are penned by BK Harinarayanan, and Dhanya Suresh Menon.

'Kanakarajyam' is slated to hit the theaters on July 5.
