Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval’s next ‘Sureshinteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayaharithamaya Pranayakatha’ starts rolling

Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval, best known for his films ‘Nna Thaan Case Kodu’ and ‘Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25," has announced his next, titled ‘Sureshinteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayaharithamaya Pranayakatha (The heartening love story of Sureshan and Sumalatha).’ The upcoming film is reportedly a spin-off of the characters Sureshan Kavumthazh and Sumalatha S.Nair from the director’s recent release ‘Nna Thaan Case Kodu’. The film went on floors today (May 29) at Payannur College.
Actors Rajesh Madhavan and Chithra, who played the lovestruck Sureshan Kavumthazh and Sumalatha S. Nair, respectively, in ‘Nna Thaan Case Kodu," are playing the lead characters in the upcoming film. ‘Sureshinteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayaharithamaya Pranayakatha’ is touted to be a romantic drama.

The makers of ‘Sureshinteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayaharithamaya Pranayakatha’ managed to create quite a buzz on social media, as they dropped a ‘Save the Date’ video a while ago, which featured Rajesh Madhavan and Chithra dancing, and many netizens assumed that the duo were uniting in real life, like the characters they played on-screen. A few days later, the makers dropped a wedding card, which piqued the curiosity of the movie buffs further.
On the technical front, Sabin Uralikandy is the cinematographer, and Akash Thomas is the editor. Dawn Vincent is in charge of the music department, and KK Muralidharan is in charge of the production design. Jithu Sebastian and Midhun Chalissery are in charge of the art direction for the film. Liji Preman is the costume designer, and Libin Mohanan is the makeup man.
