Siju Wilson appears as a priest in the first look poster of 'Varayan'

The first look poster of Siju Wilson starrer 'Varayan' is out. Mollywood's lady superstar Manju Warrier unveiled the poster through her social media handle. Featuring Siju Wilson as a priest, who is wounded, the poster looks promising. On the poster, a priest holding the hand of an assailant who is carrying a knife in hand. The poster also suggests that the movie is not just about a normal Christian priest, but has some thriller element hidden in it.The tagline of the movie reads 'Terror behind the smile', which also hints a mystery. Meanwhile, as soon as the poster was shared netizens started comparing Siju Wilson's look to that of Mammootty's upcoming movie 'The Priest'. As both the actors are in similar garb in the first their respective first look posters, the discussions have become even more interesting.

Directed by debutant Jijo Joseph, 'Varayan' has Siju Wilson essaying the lead. Leona Lishoy has roped in as the leading lady. The movie is scripted by Danny Capuchin. Rajeesh Raman has cranked the lens and Johnkutty has roped in as the editor. Prakash Alex is composing the music for 'Varayan'. The movie is backed by Premachandran A.G. under the banner of Satyam cinemas. Actors Jude Anthony, Joy Mathew, Vijayaraghavan, Maniyanpilla Raju, Aristo Suresh, has roped in as the supporting cast.
