Announced in 2018, the shooting of ‘Maa’ began at the end of February. The movie is being directed by Baljit Singh Deo, the movie has been written by Rana Ranbir. And did you know that Rana Ranbir started penning the story of ‘Maa’ in 2016.
Rana himself took to his social media handle to share this piece of information. He posted a picture of him with actor Ashish Duggal from the sets of ‘Maa’ and wrote - “With Ashish Duggal bha ji on sets of MAA.Maa film main 2016 ch likhni shuru kiti si isnu @bal_deo direct kar rahe ne. Producer han @pushpinder_happy @gippygrewal @officialgopisarpanch”

‘Maa’ is a content driven movie, which is slated to be released on Mother’s Day i.e., on May 8th. The movie stars Gippy Grewal, Babbal Rai and Aarushi Sharma in the lead.
