Kadhal Sukumar, who is popular for his roles in the films 'Kadhal', 'Yuga', and 'Thiruttu VCD', has made a shocking revelation against popular Tamil comedian Vadivelu.
Sukumar, who followed the style of actor Vadivelu during his early days, and shot to fame through them, recently revealed that he was once asked to serve as Vadivelu's body double, and was attacked by his team for turning it down.
During an interview with CineUlagam, Sukumar recalled that when he entered cinema in 2000, he imitated Vadivelu during stage shows. Because of his successful performances, Sukumar started receiving more movie offers. During that period, Vadivelu suffered an injury at the 'Maanasathan' film shoot, and the actor's team allegedly approached Sukumar to act as the former's body double to complete the film shooting. But Sukumar refused to act as Vadivelu's body double.
According to Sukumar, Vadivelu invited him for a chat, where he was allegedly attacked by Vadivelu and his team for turning down the project. Vadivelu allegedly forced Sukumar to sign a contract stating that he won’t copy the veteran.
Sukumar’s recent outing is '
Star' which hit the big screens on May 10.
