Lock Upp: Kashmera Shah comes in support of Payal Rohatgi after Munawar, Prince and others call her post revelation breakdown 'fake'; writes, ‘She is Not Lying’

Payal Rohatgi came out about getting into alcohol abuse and attempting suicide in one of the recent episodes of Lock Upp. She broke down as she revealed her deep dark secret in front of the world. However, her fellow contestants’ discussion implied that they had different perspectives about the same. Following this, Kashmera Shah has come out to support Payal.
Kashmera Shah, who is quite active on social media took to her Twitter handle and shared a video clip wherein Payal Rohatgi is seen making the big revelation.Along with the video, she wrote, “Guys she is telling the truth. I met her and was with her one night because I was worried that she would do something. I never wanted to talk about this but I don’t want you all to think she is lying for votes because she is Not Lying (sic).”

Fans reacted to Kashmera’s post and expressed gratitude for supporting Payal. They also slammed Munawar Faruigui and other Lock Upp contestants for calling her emotions and secret fake.
For the unversed, Payal Rohatgi revealed that she became an alcoholic due to the negative fame she got with her Bigg Boss 2 journey. She further shared that she was in such a messy state that she even tried to cut her hand and end her life. The actress had an emotional meltdown as she disclosed this hidden secret of her life.
Fellow contestants including, Anjali Arora, Munawar Faruqui, Prince Narula and others who consoled her first were later seen talking negatively about her. They were spotted saying that Payal’s tears were fake and it was evident by the way she cried.
