Scholarship contribution in recognition of major safety milestone 🎓👏 Care and Social Science students from Fife College will soon have access to £10,000 worth of scholarship opportunities, thanks to a donation from ExxonMobil Fife. The contribution was made to recognise FEP reaching the major safety milestone of 10,000 days without a Lost Time Injury. Kyle Aldridge, Maintenance Manager at FEP, said, “Students embarking on careers in the Care and Social Science sector will follow strict safety procedures daily, just like our team. “Their contribution to the community will be felt for generations, and it is hugely exciting to be able to invest in the future of Fife in this way.” Read more here 👉 https://lnkd.in/e_yPuK5N

Developing our future talent! For almost 40 years, we have supported more than 200 team members to develop careers through our apprentice programme. Today, we welcome the Class of ’24. Rhys Davidson, Finlay Sutherland and Caleb Meikle join us for a four-year-programme combining classroom and practical learning in their Analyser, Machinery and Instrument disciplines. Many of our apprentices have gone on to hold key positions at FEP, so we could be looking at our future leaders in this very photo. Wishing them all the best for their careers ahead. Inspiring tomorrow’s scientists, engineers and technicians! Our experienced team shared their knowledge and guidance with students from Queen Anne, Dunfermline and Woodmill High Schools in Fife at the recent Rotary Club Technology Challenge. Supported by ExxonMobil Fife, the Challenge brought together over 20 students who were tasked to work as teams to design and build a vehicle capable of moving aid packages across a flowing river. A great event that highlights the skills and qualities #STEM employers are seeking in future talent. But there can only be one winner, so many congratulations to the team from Queen Anne High School who emerged victors on the day 🏆 #STEM DYW Fife
